CorProfen for Headache Pain Relief

Corprofen™ is a topical headache cream that can be safely used to temporarily relieve the symptoms of most severe headache conditions.
Corprofen™ was developed to provide an effective alternative to oral or injected pain medication. Corprofen is an easy to use, portable product available over-the-counter to help alleviate inflammation, pain, and stiffness. During pre-clinical asessments of Corprofen™, many patients who used Corprofen™ for pain management required lower doses of oral medications.

Corprofen™, in pre-clinical assessments, has been shown to quickly and effectively alleviate musculoskeletal and myofascial headache pain by penetrating the epidermis and reducing inflammation. A key difference between Corprofen™ and other topical pain-relieving preparations is Corprofen™ contains a combination of topical analgesic pain medication, an anti-inflammatory medication and a proprietary transdermal carrier which allows it to penetrate below the skin to reach the nerve origin of your headache pain.
Corprofen™ has engaged SYA Press and Research, Inc. to conduct clinical research on the Corprofen™ products. The company is a recognized leader in the publication of medical research and information in a patient-friendly format.
Initial results are exciting. The scientific studies show dramatically decreased headache pain when Corprofen™ is applied as a topical cream to the temples. No side-effects are reported, and the pain studies have entered their second phase.
All research is designed by licensed M.D.'s. To request a copy of our clinical research as it is made publically available
As with any medication, whether obtained over-the-counter or by prescription, keep in mind Corprofen™ is a form of a drug. Prior to use, the patient should discuss product use with their treating physician, physical therapist, chiropractor, or healthcare professional

Dosage Application

Corprofen™ is for external use on the skin (clean skin). Gently massage a thin film of Corprofen™ to the temples for headache pain or migraine pain 1 or 2 times per day or as directed by your doctor. Discontinue use of Corprofen™ when headache relief is achieved. If you continue to suffer frequent headaches, contact your healthcare professional.

Patient Information

Corprofen™ is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Corprofen™ is to be used only as directed by a healthcare professional. CorProfen is a topical application, Do not use it for any condition other than that for which it is recommended.

Do not use Corprofen™ longer than recommended. Corprofen™ is for external use only. Avoid mucus membranes (eyes, mouth, anus, and vagina). Unless directed by a healthcare professional, avoid use on the face, underarms, or groin.

Do not apply Corprofen™ on skin infection, skin rash, open skin, or wounds.

Discontinue use of Corprofen™ if any signs of adverse reaction develop (e.g. rash, itching). Report any adverse reactions to the recommending healthcare professional.

Do not cover any skin treated with Corprofen™ with an airtight dressing (e.g. adhesive bandage, plastic wrap).

Precautions

Do not use Corprofen™ if sensitive to hydrocortisone or any other steroid medication, aspirin, ibuprofen, or lidocaine. In patients with diabetes mellitus (sugar diabetes), overuse of corticosteroids may interfere with the patient's ability to control diabetes by increasing blood and urine glucose (sugar). However, this is not likely to occur when Corprofen™ is used for a short period of time.

Prolonged use of hydrocortisone can depress the ability of the body's adrenal glands to produce corticosteroids and may cause corticosteroid insufficiency. Nausea, vomiting, and even shock may accompany corticosteroid insufficiency. Therefore, patients who have used hydrocortisone for a prolonged period of time should not abruptly stop its use. Withdrawal from use of hydrocortisone should be done gradually under a healthcare professional's direction. Gradually tapering from hydrocortisone use may minimize the risk of abrupt flare of the disease under treatment.

In patients with tuberculosis, corticosteroids may make existing infection worse or may cause new infections. In patients with thinning skin with easy bruising, corticosteroids may make the condition worse.

Products containing lidocaine may not be recommended for use by patients with liver problems or other serious medical conditions.

Pregnant/Breastfeeding: Pregnant/Breastfeeding women should avoid use of Corprofen™.

Children: Use of Corprofen™ is not recommended for children under 18 years of age, unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Corprofen™ is manufactured in an FDA inspected OTC-licensed facility. Corprofen™ is exclusively distributed by Corprofen, Inc.
